The Retractable Bobber fits in your pocket (just like a pen); to use, pull out the bead until the ’stop’ is reached.
When finished using the Bobber, push the bead (on its wand) back into the casing, and replace in your pocket !
When closed it is about 7 inches / 18 cm long; the extended length is about 12.75 inches / 33 cm.
The ‘Retractable Bobber’ has been tested by many Dowsers; it is easy to use and gives a strong signal.
Based on the ‘Pocket Bobber’ originally developed by one of the Masters of Dowsing, the late Edward Bush, these tools have pewter weights fitted to the end of a specially wound spring ‘wand’, inserted into a ball-point pen case.
Bobbers are horizontal Pendulums – operated by their springyness instead of gravity. The recommended signals are :
Clockwise circle = YES; Anti-clockwise circle = NO; Up & Down = WAITING; Side to Side = NOT AVAILABLE.
